A message from Councillor Patrick Myers

Police and Trafford Council Officers join forces
In the summer months Anti Social Behaviour tends to increase in and around Halecroft Park. Trafford Council Officers are working with the Police in a proactive way to reduce the threat to the community, particularly where alcohol and illegal drugs are involved. Greater Manchester Police have
pre-emptively targeted more than 30 individuals who are predisposed towards Anti Social Behaviour in the area.

In the three months to end June compared to the same quarter last year, burglaries are down by 42%. Car crime remains a priority for the police in the area. You can reduce your risk by ensuring that you do not leave articles on show in your car, even when it is parked on your property. Take care to keep the keys out of sight, particularly at night when homes are broken into for the car keys. If you have any information concerning Anti Social Behaviour or car crime in Hale, you can discuss the issues in confidence with any of your Ward Councillors or alternatively report issues anonymously to Crime-stoppers on 0800 555111
